2020 San Diego Music Awards Best World Music Album Nominee, "La Bella Vita"

I am beyond honored and grateful to learn that my latest album, La Bella Vita, is nominated for a San Diego Music Award in the Best World Music Album category!! The awards take place on March 23, 2020 at teh House of Blues, San Diego. All the other categories you can vote for, so please support local music and GO VOTE HERE!!

I want to thank Grammy winning producer/engineer Alan Sanderson at Pacific Beat Recording for his belief in my sound…he would say, “It’s all about the songs. If you have great songs and a great voice, you’ve got a great record”. It’s all about thatVIBE at his studio. You just can’t beat it! Also, all of the incredible musicians you gave their talents, hearts and time on this project (see the liner notes image for names and credits). So grateful. Big thanks to the SD nominating committee for believing in my project and getting it on the ballot.

With all the life challenges that came with putting out this record - it took 4 years to finally release - this nomination is an absolute blessing and testament to keep persevering, no matter what. If you keep striving to do the best you can with what you are given, only good will come.

Mami Maria would be so proud <3 This is in honor of her and her fiery, passionate Italian self. I love you, te quiero mucho, ti amo!!!! Hope to see you all at the awards show!
